Cards are the fundamental elements in the game and hold strategic importance. Players can add new cards to their decks by starting a new turn, using the "mayor" button, through the other cards present in their deck or as the game progresses. There are a total of 7 different types of cards, each contributing different advantages to the dynamics of the game.

Building Cards[]

House

Example of a Building Card: House

Blue building cards represent almost all buildings in the game. To give the Blue Building card a unique and cool appearance, we designed it with a "Blue Print" look, resembling technical drawings with a more detailed and technical drawing style.

Road Cards[]

1 Tile Road

Example of a Road Card

For the road cards, we wanted a technical look that gives off a real road vibe. So, we turned the Blue Print paper color to grey and added technical road drawings to achieve the desired effect.

Quest Cards[]

Elementary School 1x2

Example of a Quest/Red Card

As for the Quest cards, we aimed for a technical feel and wanted players to sense their importance in the game. Hence, we changed the Blue Print paper color to red and placed technical building drawings on them to emphasize their significance. Quest cards play a crucial role in the game. Some of them require specific conditions to be fulfilled in order to use them. Additionally, each quest card has a limited number of turns available. If you don't use it before the specified turn limit expires, a red alert is triggered for each unused red quest card. If you accumulate 3 red alerts, your game ends

Action cards[]

Cheap Asphalt

Example of an Action Card

The action cards were super important for city development, so we decided to make them look like blackboards with a green color scheme. The drawings on them look just like chalk drawings, and we even added white marks to make them pop. The action cards were super important for city development.

Upgrades[]

Big Plans

Example of an Upgrade Card

We used this style to make you feel like a mayor planning the city's future on a whiteboard. You have the power to shape the city's destiny, and in our game, you can freely make decisions that will bring out the best for the city! We drew them with neater and cuter illustrations, almost like marker drawings. They don't show up often, but when they do, we want them to stand out and look appealing.

Festivals[]

Forest Festival

Example of a Festival Card

Our Festival cards are rare. So, we wanted them to scream fun, so we used adorable motifs and brighter, livelier colors. These cards have some textures and look like cool stickers you'd want to collect. The model of our cards even has a poster-like texture, and we went with a golden color to give off a positive vibe.

Mega-Project Cards[]

Project Mega Drill Setup

Example of a Mega-Project Card

Mega-Project Cards are the first step towards completing the game. They are distinguished by their golden color and form a unique type of card category. Other cards won't appear until you use the first step of Mega-Project card.
