Trouble-Meter is a game mechanic in Cardboard Town. Some cards may increase or decrease the trouble-meter. If the player reduces the trouble-meter below the 3 mark, they will still gain a trouble at the mark 3. Therefore; it’s only possible to evade troubles by keeping the meter in certain thresholds.

Building a Population building in a Blue aura reduces the trouble-meter by 1 for each square.

Destroy a card. Reset the Trouble-Meter to zero.

Electro Craze
Get a random Disaster. Gain +2 and generate a Tesla Coil in your hand. Destroy this card.

Suggestion Box
Advance the Trouble-Meter by 2. Gain 1 . Generate a random building card in hand.
